Difficulties when studying Russian

Today I would like to share with you some of the challenges that you might find or have already found when you are in the learning process. To my personal point of view, the most difficult thing to learn is the declension of each word according with the grammar case; then comes the verb’s aspect, whether is perfect or imperfect and the verbs of motion.
At the beginning is really complicated to understand everything at once, but you have to get used to it if you want to see the results. Patience is the main virtue that all of you should have because it can take you up to a year and a half or more to reach a high proficiency level. The most frustrating, not only in Russia but anywhere is whenever you want to communicate with someone and they do not understand what you are trying to say, and honestly whenever you step into a market, sometimes Russians are not very patient with you.
Nevertheless, once you have achieved all the grammar and stop thinking about right or wrong, the most beautiful thing comes, communication finally. This is the part when you start to communicate and express yourself like them, and all the compliments you can get after spending several hours studying, you can see the results of your efforts.
I can suggest you not to force yourself to look very complicated grammar books when you are recently starting try better to watch cartoons or any other comedy TV show like Oryol and reshka (Орёл и решка) which is my favorite, listen to music especially popular songs, but the most important thing is to find someone to talk with. Nowadays, many Russians want to learn another foreign language, so you can have interaction with someone who wants your native language.
I hope all these advises can be useful for any of you, and don’t give up.
