Huge ice rink to open in SPB

13 January, 2014

Although winter has been taking its time arriving in St. Pete, that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy winter activities, especially ice skating!  Opening this month until the end of March, St. Petersburg will have its largest ice skating rink in the city.

The rink is located near Olympic Hopes stadium (Олимпийские Надежды) at Akkuratova Str. 7A in Udelniy Park and will cover 7,000 square meters!

Although the rink was scheduled to open last month, the unusually warm weather has postponed the original date. Hopefully it will stay cold enough for the next few months to enjoy the winter season.

If you’re planning on visiting the rink, admissions fees are:

Adults – 200 rubles;

Students – 100 rubles;

The cost of skate rental – 150 rubles per hour.

Time Spent on the rink is not limited.

Hours: weekends from 13:00 to 21:00
