This upcoming weekend, something special is starting in the beautiful city of Saint Petersburg. Illusio. Lord of Dreams, is a fascinating and extraordinary show in honor to the unique Broadway musicals in New York. The event will take place at the Leningrad Centre on five different dates lasting from September to the end of October 2016. Save the date!
An international team of costume and graphic designers, producers and choreographers created the Felix Mikhailov production. World champions in pole dance and acrobatics, as well as finalists of popular TV shows and star actors will fulfill the “Illusio. Lord of Dreams” show. For instance, artists who have worked together with the Cornelli Circus from Switzerland will be part of it. Furthermore, GOP-artists from Germany or Cirque de Soleil from the United States will guarantee an unforgettable experience.
It will be a mixture of all the trends of theatrical genres, ages and modern musicals. A unique production of the Leningrad Center in Saint Petersburg that stages the event, boldly combining modern dance with ancient folklore motives, classical ballet, astonishing acrobatics, electronic music and Russian lyrical song.
The Russian performer of musicals Artyom Alexeyev is playing the principal role in the show and his character is an author who sets out on a journey through his own world of dreams. In this world of dreams, his own personal memories and characters from books and stories he has read, rub shoulders with bright images from works of art.
