Intern Introduction, Liden and Denz Spring 2016 – Garbis
10 May, 2016

As usual, this is an Intern Introduction from one of our Spring 2016 Interns!

Привет everyone,

My name is Garbis and today is my first day with Liden & Denz in their Moscow language centre. I am really excited thinking of the prospect of spending a month in the Russian capital and look forward to discovering and sharing with you my impressions of some of the treasures of this city. During my month-long stay I intend to do as much as I can in terms of getting to understand the locals, master their language and uncover the places they cherish.

I am a lawyer with passion for travels and languages. Of Armenian descent, I spent my childhood in Sofia (Bulgaria). Then, at the age of going to university I opted for doing it abroad, successively living in Spain, France and Belgium. Afterwards, this nomadic lifestyle took me to Luxembourg and finally the United Kingdom. Currently I live in London, a place which I very much enjoy because of its cosmopolitan and liberal side. Still, I keep travelling as much as I can and recently have been spending relatively long periods of time in both Italy and Russia, the excuse being bettering my command of the local language. When not travelling, I tend to spend long hours working but I like what I do and it always reminds me of my travelling passion. Indeed, I work on international legal disputes involving different countries or global businesses, whose staff and problems are located somewhere across the globe.
